Ji Wen has racing experience that is unrivalled in Singapore. Wins in France as a Junior, competing at the Junior World Championships and racing with UCI Continental teams since 2008 to name just a few of his racing exploits.
Being a UCI (International Cycling Union) qualified coach, he understands the demands of an athlete from both perspectives. He has helmed the Singapore Cycling Federation – Youth & Junior Development Squads, as well as being Head Cycling Coach at indoor training company, Athlete Lab. Through his work, several National cyclists and triathletes have emerged and flourished, as have age-group Ironman podium finishers. Freshly minted cyclists have developed the techniques and confidence to get out on the road, and experienced ones have improved in areas they never thought possible.
Technique and fitness can be grown in two ways: Experimentation, that will invariably result in failure at some point, and experience, that is passed on from someone who has already made those mistakes for you.
